With a strategic plan to produce more than 1 million tonnes per annum of copper within five years, the Company is poised to become the largest, widely-held pure-play copper producer and one of the top five copper producers in the world.

We are currently searching for experienced and talented people to join the dynamic team in Panama. Being based in a remote location we would like to attract people who will be able to contribute to the success of this project moving into operation. Herewith more details regarding the above mentioned role:

Key Responsibilities:

Interfacing and Supporting Construction Managers in key areas which include:

·  Report on critical problems or issues

·  Develop a risk register to track key risk activities

·  Ensure Power Plant statutory and regulatory requirements and specifications are implemented and adhered to at all times

·  Provide interface support between the internal team, vendors, the contractors and sub-contractors

·  Interface with Engineering to ensure proper document control

·  Review and approve "As-Built" drawing and handover document

·  Support Site Procurement requirements

·  Check and review 3D models

·  Provide direct input and support with regard to material management and preservation

·  Setup and manage material control procedures and processes

·  Provide OS&D reports

·  Support the Construction QA/QC function in order to achieve construction certification

Support the CM in preparing and setting up for Pre-Commissioning, Commissioning and Acceptance testing. This include:

·  Readiness for pre-Commissioning

·  Turn Over Packages

·  Punch Lists

·  Pre-Commissioning planning

·  Hot Commissioning planning

·  Chemical Cleaning (if any)

·  Vendor / Licensor Supervision Planning (Specialist) and arrange and control

·  Approval for Hydrostatic Test Definition (Diagram) & Lists

·  Approval for Flushing, Leak Test and Inserting Definition (Diagram) & Lists

·  Pre-Commissioning Vendor Supervision and Coordination

·  Document / System Hand-over to client in conjunction with QAQC team.

·  Manage the transfer of care, custody and control from Construction to pre-Commissioning team.

·  Punch List Control

·  Start-up execution and activities

·  Acceptance Tests Procedures

·  Functional and operation test

·  Initial Operation

·  Reliability Test

·  Performance Tests

·  Program of Performance Tests

·  Ensure proper planning for project close-out & handover. This include:

·  Turn-over Procedure review and approval

·  System Hand-over, Review, approval

·  Engineering Data Book, Procurement Data Book, Construction Data Book (Inspection and Test Report)

·  Provisional Acceptance Certificate

·  Final Punch control

·  Work within the Operations team for 3-6 Months month transition.

Key Requirements:

·  Suitably qualified project engineer

·  Power Station construction and commissioning experience moving into operations will be critical

·  A proven ability to support, guide and if necessary lead construction elements in achieving the project goals in time, cost and quality elements.

·  Previous experience living and working in remote areas within developing countries
