Port & Power Plant Project Engineer On-going Port
The role provide technical support to the Port and Power Station Area Manager for the construction of a coal-fired power station and related facilities at Punta Rincon, on the north coast of Panama for the Cobre Panama Project. The Port and Power Station Project Engineer will supervise a team providing day to day engineering support services to assist an owner led self-perform construction team (which includes some specialist contractor services) through construction to commissioning and handover. Facilities under construction include • 2 x 150MW power station • 230 kV Transmission Line and substations • Concentrate Receipt, Filtration, Storage and Out loading • Coal Receipt, Storage and Reclaim Systems • Commodity Berth and Breakwater • Power Station Cooling Water • Fuel Offload and Storage Facilities • Construction Camps and Offices • Roadworks and Services The site based role will provide day to day engineering services and coordinate provision of technical advice to the project team in the safe construction of the assigned scope of work
Port Captain On-going Port
The Port Captain’s primary role is to ensure that persons working in the Punta Ricon port area (land and sea) are appropriately trained and instructed and that vessels and facilities in the Punta Ricon port area are staffed, operated, and maintained in accordance with applicable legal and regulatory requirements, MPSA standards, and vessel owner/captain requirements. The Port Captain is accountable for and ensures the safety and well-being of persons, the cost effective use of equipment and resources and safeguards the environment that might be impacted though marine operations at the Punta Rincon facility. It is expected that this accountability will be discharged though oversight/monitoring and coordination of daily vessel operations, training and supervision of staff and establishment of Safe Work procedures. The Port captain will also be required to manage the vessel captains and relief captains directly. The Port Captain is responsible to ensure that all vessels have necessary documentation and authority for all operations

Heavy Equipment Trainer Fixed Term Akjoujt
Reporting into the Mine Manager, the Heavy Equipment Trainer will train on Komatsu excavators varying in sizes from PC2000 to PC400 and 375 Komatsu dozers in the open pit. The trainer will provide advanced training to the current 25 excavator operators and 10 dozer operators. Experience working with open pit mining contractors would be highly regarded.
